Thinking pink: when OPI meets Nicki Minaj

Miss Nicki Minaj is no stranger to beauty or to collaborating with some of the industry’s hottest brands, the latest of which is nail legends OPI.
OPI have just announced the launch of six new limited edition shades inspired by hip hop diva Minaj, including a purple Shatter that is destined to fly off the shelves. The purple Super Bass Shatter (a record-setting purple that “shatters” before your eyes) is inspired by graffiti art and works when painted over any dry OPI hue. Adding a top coat takes Super Bass Shatter from matte to glossy in seconds, whatever you personal preference.
The line features five nail lacquers in addition to Super Bass Shatter, ranging from fantastic pink, rainbow confetti glitter and charcoal sparkle hues to two green shades in lime and teal. My favourites are the bubblegum-influenced Pink Friday – named after Minaj’s newest album – and Save Me, a silver rainbow glitter. Super cute and available in February 2012.
