Fragrance Friday: Guerlain, Mon Guerlain

The story of Guerlain is the tale of a true family business. An amazing five generations of Guerlains have led the timeless and beautiful beauty company over the years, each leaving their own indelible mark. The brand dates back to 1828, when it started life as a small perfume business in Paris under Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain. Guerlain was a master perfumer, creating fragrances for the rich and famous - Napoléon III and Queen Victoria amongst the many who flocked to him for their signature scents.
Pierre-François Pascal passed his skills on to his son Aimé, who in turn taught his nephew Jacques (the latter being responsible for Guerlain's signature Shalimar scent). Years later, Jacques handed down the family secrets to his grandson Jean-Paul, which is where the buck stopped. In 1994, Jean-Paul sold the company to the multinational LMVH, but its dedication to creating the unique and the beautiful has never stopped.
In the 189 years since its inception, Guerlain has created more than 325 different fragrances and still holds its own in the luxury perfume market. Its latest release is the soon-to-be-iconic Mon Guerlain, a thoroughly modern fragrance for the times with one of the world’s most famous beauties as its face.
“I am always filled with an imperious thirst for distant lands, the desire to go ever farther, in search of new scents,” says Thierry Wasser, Guerlain master perfumer and the creator of the newly released Mon Guerlain.
For five generations the Guerlain perfumer has embraced the history of perfumery heart and soul, whilst also taking the time to invent new “accords” and develop an amazing 1,100 new fragrances. Wasser says that it is “impossible to define a Guerlain fragrance as a mere formula that unites accords and combines rare raw materials in secret concentrations,” adding that history and emotion are equally as important when it comes to the end result.
The starting point behind the composition work of Mon Guerlain is vanilla, a favourite raw material inseparable from any Guerlain masterpiece and also present in legendary Guerlain releases Shalimar, Habit Rouge and Jicky.
This powerful and what Wasser likes to call “sensual” Tahitensis vanilla is joined by an exceptional and rare lavender, which comes with the unique olfactory properties that would satisfy the expectations of the perfumer. “This new accord invites us to move beyond the divide and ambiguity of masculine and feminine, because it works to reconcile genres,” says Delphine Jelk, who co-created the fragrance. “This is exactly what gives Mon Guerlain its power and modernity.” Sambac jasmine, gathered at sunrise, connects vanilla to lavender, whilst sandalwood adds an earthy depth to its femininity.
This quadrilobe bottle that contains the fragrance was reportedly originally dreamt up by Gabriel Guerlain and crafted by Baccarat in 1908. Year after year, it has earned its position as one of the iconic bottles of Guerlain, inspiring numerous artists and designers who reinterpret it with each of their creations.
Understated, simple and graphic, it recalls an alchemist’s bottle and owes the name “quadrilobe” to its stopper, which is formed from a solid piece to obtain a shape resembling four lobes. Today it encases Mon Guerlain, in a marriage that couldn’t be more perfect.
For the creation of Mon Guerlain, Master Perfumer Wasser says he was inspired wholly and utterly by its face, Angelina Jolie. Its creation also includes a glance to the past, as the company wanted the fragrance to incorporate a nod to Jolie’s memory of her mother wearing Guerlain powder. Scented with iris and violet, Jolie recalls its association with quality, elegance and femininity.
Recognised all over the world, Jolie is an actress, filmmaker, director and Special Envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. She and spokespeople from the Guerlain brand first met in Cambodia over a year ago, where she was directing her fourth feature film, First They Killed My Father, about a child’s memory of war and loss. There a partnership began, with the intention of creating a new fragrance bringing together the brand’s legacy of beauty and craftsmanship and the “values, ideals and aspirations of modern femininity”.
The dedicated humanitarian also used her new role with Guerlain as a way to further her charitable endeavours; according to Guerlain, Jolie has donated her entire paycheck from this project to charity. There are no further details on which organisations received the funds or how much they received, but it was likely a sizeable amount and under the watchful eye of Jolie, will be carefully used.
“We create perfumes for women we admire,” Jacques Guerlain has stated, and there are few immediately recognisable, modern women more admirable than Jolie.

All about: the newest in natural beauty

While interest in natural products has increased steadily amongst skincare users of all ages, research by skincare giant Kiehl’s has found that consumers still feel they are compromising efficacy when using natural skincare solutions. I can’t say this is true for all natural skincare ranges but for many, it sadly is. And we shouldn’t have to compromise, right? Luckily there are some brilliant innovators out there creating amazing new formulas all the time, so I have rounded up a few of them to chat about here.
The aforementioned Kiehl’s hardworking chemists spent considerable time over the last few years hitting the lab and created Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream (RRP $98.00), a 99.6 per cent naturally derived formula that is the first of its kind to leverage the combined efficacy of two world-renowned wellness ingredients – New Zealand-sourced Manuka Honey and Korean Red Ginseng Root. The Manuka Honey used in Pure Vitality is sourced from a New Zealand-based, Maori owned company called Watson and Son, who are one of the biggest producers of Manuka Honey in the world. So how does it work? Well, while cocooning the skin in a comforting, creamy texture, the luxurious moisturiser also helps skin resist hydration loss while aiding in recovery from existing skin damage. That is one hell of a multi-pronged approach to dehydrated skin, and I for one give it two thumbs up.
When a natural skincare brand gets major props on the notoriously thorough – and tough! - Paula’s Choice Beautypedia website, you know it’s got to be good. This is the case for Drunk Elephant, a brand recently arrived in New Zealand at meccabeauty.co.nz and Mecca Maxima. Based out of Los Angeles, California, Drunk Elephant was founded back in 2012 by former skincare executive Tiffany Masterson. As their website describes, Masterson developed the brand out of a desire to create “natural-themed formulas” that were truly effective and high performance. From the get-go Masterson was emphatic that they leave out that which wasn’t effective – primarily added fragrance. The inclusion of a plethora of exotic fragrances is where many natural-themed brands seem to go wrong, leaving many potential customers with major irritation to their already-sensitive skin. Fragrance, be it from essential oils or synthetics, has even been found to cause damage in some skin types. Happily, Drunk Elephant are one step ahead with their innovative, fragrance-free products.
The Drunk Elephant line is a small but beautifully curated one, and it makes each product count. All of the clever packaging keeps the ingredients inside protected, and many of the formulas include the aforementioned ingredient Marula oil, which contains an array of beneficial fatty acids, anti-inflammatory agents, and antioxidants. Drunk Elephant's Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil has been on high rotate in my house of late, due its abilities as a marvellous multitasker and its general awesomeness. It’s actually a very straightforward beauty product, in that it contains just a single ingredient: Marula oil. Marula oil is an excellent ingredient for skin, and thanks to the aforementioned great packaging that keeps it stable, this product is a winner. High in critical antioxidants like tocopherol (vitamin E), tochotrienol, phenolic compounds and Omegas 6 and 9, it hydrates, preserves and nourishes your skin, while restoring that elusive, youthful plumpness. Straight from the “pip” of the marula fruit, the Virgin Marula Oil in the bottle is virtually untouched by any chemical or fragrance, natural or synthetic and remains in its purest form. The oil itself is lightweight enough that it can be applied directly to skin, absorbing within a couple of minutes. It is amazing for those with dry to very dry skin like mine, but if you have oily or combination skin with patches of dryness, this can be applied to those areas too. If you haven’t checked out this new range yet then I highly recommend that you do – their Lala Retro Whipped Crème moisturiser is another absolute winner.
“I think that lipsticks are like flowers, they have an instant feel good factor that will brighten anyone’s Christmas day,” says Karen Murrell, Creative Director of Karen Murrell Lipsticks, and I couldn’t agree more. Karen’s lipsticks have even more to feel good about than most as well, being hailed as the ultimate ‘vegetarian lipsticks’ as the range has no animal based materials or testing. Instead, they contain Avocado Oil (to provide moisture, nourishment and hydration), Cinnamon, Evening Primrose Oil (rich in Omega 6 to soothe and moisturise), and Carnauba Wax; renowned for its high melting point, ensuring they are hard wearing in even the roughest handbag.
Karen is always adding new shades to her range and lately, she also launched Karen Murrell natural lip pencils (RRP $27.00) as the perfect partner for your favourite natural lipstick shade. Smooth and easy to apply with long lasting, natural colour, they can be used alone for a long lasting matte finish or as a liner or base to compliment your lip choice. They are as natural as it comes without compromising on performance, which is rare when it comes to many natural lip formulas that last about as long on as they take to apply! From product to packaging, even the gorgeous boxes that house the new Karen Murrell lip pencils are ethically created: they were printed with vegetable based inks on sustainably sourced paper by an FSC-certified printing company. Amazing, and how good would it be if all beauty brands went to the same lengths as these?

All about: Dermalogica’s new Overnight Retinol Repair 1%

I swear in my life I have tried about every single ‘hope in a jar’ out there, spending god knows how much on eye creams, serums and whatnot as I (fruitlessly for the most part) battle the creeping signs of ageing. There’s certainly no way to escape them, but a little softening here and there is more than welcome, and if I can find a product that gives my skin that extra boost then bring it on.
In the skincare world there is one thing that we know absolutely delivers the goods however, and that’s retinol. Some are so potent that can completely change your skin overnight, but not all are created equal. There are a lot of misconceptions about retinol too, with good reason. Also there is the fact that there are ‘Retin-A’ products, and ‘retinol’ products… and both are ‘retinoids’. It’s all vitamin A, but the first kind is pretty heavy duty (i.e. you need a prescription) and the second type you can buy over the counter. Unlike standard exfoliators, retinoids work at the cellular level to increase collagen, smooth-out annoying fine lines and even-out the tone, all of which are on my shopping list thank-you-very-much.
Retinol is a key ingredient in Dermalogica’s new Overnight Retinol Repair 1%, which ratchets things up another notch from their much-loved Overnight Retinol Repair 0.5%. The highly concentrated new night-time treatment cream offers clinical-strength Retinol (1.0%) for users who want advanced results in a formula that won’t compromise skin health or comfort. Part of the brand’s AgeSmart range, it has been designed as the next step for those wanting a stronger retinol formula, be it as a treatment course or as part of their ongoing nightly treatment. Retailing for $198 and recently added to the brand’s on counter lineup, the super powered formula also comes with a buffer cream moisturiser, which is there to mix with it initially to help the skin acclimatise to the retinol.
Key to the formula is pure Vitamin A, a highly active form of retinol that has been shown to dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, and combat free radical damage. Because the retinol molecule on its own is extremely delicate, and can lose its potency as soon as it is exposed to light or air, Overnight Retinol Repair 1% was developed using the most advanced microencapsulation technology to protect the molecule within the formula. This allows the retinol to retain stability and deliver results.
Additional ingredients in the powerful formula include Squalene from Brazilian Sugar Cane to restore skin moisture and suppleness, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 and TAUT Peptides help minimise the appearance of wrinkles and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (antioxidant Vitamin C) to help reduce the appearance of skin discolouration. Active polysaccharides are also in there to hydrate and prevent water loss in the skin, helping to soften fine lines, whilst Licorice extract helps calm irritation and provides antioxidant power. Boom!
To help skin acclimate, Dermalogica recommends mixing one-part Overnight Retinol Repair 1% with three parts Buffer Cream, applying to cleansed skin. For more sensitive skin, apply the mixture on alternate nights. Increase the ratio as skin adjusts, at which point Overnight Retinol Repair 1% may be used alone or prior to or mixed with moisturiser. Like all retinol products, use this beauty only at night when cell renewal is at its prime, wear sunscreen during the day and avoid excessive sun exposure.
Due to the expert strength of this product, Overnight Retinol Repair 1% is only available to purchase in store at authorised Dermalogica stockists on recommendation from qualified skin therapists and will not be available to purchase online from dermalogica.co.nz. It is available right now though, so what are you waiting for?

Beauty news: Natasha Oakley X St. Tropez

My favourite self-tanning product is by far, St. Tropez 'Everyday' Gradual Tan for Body, and apparently it’s Tash Oakley’s too – possibly the only thing I will have in common with the golden goddess and creator of A Bikini A Day! Now, the international influencer is taking her love of the global faux glow brand to the next level with the announcement of her appointment to the role of St. Tropez’s newest tanning ambassador.
In a global partnership which spans across the UK, US and Australian markets, Natasha will make her official start by co-hosting the brand’s first ever Facebook Live (27th April) to kick off a very exciting Northern Hemipshere summer for the brand, which includes a ground-breaking new product launch that’s the first of its kind on the global market.
Natasha has said of the partnership: “St.Tropez has been my go-to tanning brand for years, so it’s incredible to be working with them this year. Having grown up by the beach, I’m so conscious of the effects of sun damage, so I always use full block SPF on my face and wear a huge hat to make sure my face isn’t in the sun. It means that tanning products are so important in my beauty routine so that I can have a natural-looking, even and safe tan. I love the confidence that having a tan gives me, as well as happy memories of being on the beach in the sunshine.”
St.Tropez Global Product Development Director Jacqueline Burchell adds: “This is St.Tropez’s biggest influencer partnership to date and we couldn’t think of anybody more perfect than Natasha. Our tanning wardrobe of choice contains a product perfect for every occasion, and with Natasha’s strong global presence we really want to show how versatile tanning can be all year round.”
St.Tropez will also be supporting five A Bikini A Day pop-up shops in London(26-28 April), Los Angeles (7-10 April), New York (19-21 May), Miami (22-23 July) and Sydney (November, exact date TBC), providing shoppers with samples of its latest tanning innovations as well as product at retail.

Love it: the Little Honey Flawless Bronzing Kit

I’m a self-confessed connoisseur of the faux glow, and have tried pretty much every formulation out there - with varying degrees of success. It is still the safest tan out there for tanning at any time of year, and with New Zealand skin cancer rates constantly on the rise it’s time to pick a formula that works for you rather than baking under what are some pretty damn dangerous rays. It’s also a great way to put a bit of a pep in your step, and I for one always feel a little more body confident when I’m sporting a little golden glow – any time of year.
One of the latest ways to achieve a summertime glow all year round that I’ve been playing with is Little Honey Flawless Bronzing Mist, which came as part of the Little Honey Flawless Bronzing Kit (RRP$55.00). Created and crafted right here in New Zealand, it’s the brainchild of a woman called Kate Walsh, who lives in Auckland with her little family and first came up with the idea of Little Honey back in 2015. The founder of the self tan brand  reportedly set out to create a product that not only looked beautiful, but was easy to use, quick drying and had no unpleasant after smell." I saw a gap in the market for a locally made, luxury tanning product and wanted to give consumers a choice to buy an affordable beauty product that is innovative, on trend and the best quality," says Kate.
The formula is 100 per cent paraben and cruelty free, and is green based – so no tandoori tan issues here. The mitt applicator that comes in the kit along with the bronzing spray solution makes it a dream to apply, and I have found that one coat is all it takes for a perfect between-season colour. If you like your tan darker a couple coats might be a better option for you, but it dries so quickly that even a few applications are a breeze.
The company says that one bottle gives you about twelve full body applications, and at $45.00 is way less than the cost of many a premium professional spray tan. Oh and did I mention that Little Honey is enriched with Aloe Vera and Pro Vitamin B5, so it works hard to keep your skin soft, smooth and healthy. Bonus!
This beauty comes highly recommended and is available right now at Life and Unichem Pharmacies, Smith and Caughey department stores and select boutique stores nationwide. It is also available online at www.littlehoney.co.nz.

Love it: the Remington PROluxe Salon Dryer

If you’ve ever dreamt of being able to achieve a salon-worthy style at home that ACTUALLY lasts, you’re certainly not alone. And if I told you that Remington has released a product that will help you do exactly that you’d be pretty excited, right? Well they have, and although it’s not cheap, it is worth every cent.
A salon professional hair dryer available to the general hair-loving public that combines the power of drying and styling to give effortless styling control with ultimate volume and shine to all hair types, the Remington PROluxe Salon Dryer is an absolute godsend. What sets this beauty apart is the addition of the brand’s intelligent PROheat technology, which ensures the optimum level of heat is delivered to locks where it’s needed most to achieve long-lasting styles “that rival salon styling”.
The PROheat technology works by using PROheat Digital Sensors to ensure the heat is evenly maintained at all times when using the brand’s PROluxe Salon Straightener, and the Dryer also features the same intelligent technology. In the Dryer’s case it works through the use of the unique-shaped Styling Concentrator, which enhances air flow and distributes heat for better styling performance. The handy style shot function allows you to boost the optimum level of heat delivered and apply it where its needed most, whilst Ionic conditioning technology releases 90 per cent more ions for less frizz and more shine.
I have hair that can be a nightmare to dry due to its thickness and ability to hold onto water, and this baby has it dry in well under fifteen minutes - ten even, if I use a microfibre towel first. It also eliminates much of my hair’s natural frizz, and is so light to use that I don’t mind spending a little extra time if need be on my style. Amazing? You bet, and with extra time in the morning I can confidently call this release a “life changer”.
The Remington PROLUXE Salon Dryer AC9140AU ($249.99) is exclusive to Harvey Norman in New Zealand, and further stockist information phone 0800 736 776. Both the PROluxe Salon Dryer and Straightener come with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty too, so once again they might be on the spendy side, but well worth the slurge.

Love it: SkinMedica’s HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator

An instant gratifier – as well as long-term warrior – if ever there was one, SkinMedica’s HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator is the skincare product I have been most impressed with this year, and I have seen a few! Why? Well I’ll get to that later, but first I’d like to give some props to the key ingredient at its heart, hylauronic acid.
One of the most extraordinarily beneficial ingredients for all skin types, hyaluronic acid – AKA HA - has powerful anti-ageing properties and is also one of the best hydrating ingredients for skin. To blind you a little with science, HA is a glycosaminoglycan, which is a clever person’s name for a vital natural substance that’s a youth-supporting part of skin. As the chief glycosaminoglycan in skin, hyaluronic acid works to keep every aspect of skin stable, safeguarded, and renewed. It also has the incredible capacity to attract and hold vast amounts of moisture, meaning that it helps bring back that elusive “plumpness” that we all seek after the age of 25 or so. One of the qualities of youthful skin is its ability to hold water, and as we age, our skin loses the ability to maintain this moisture level as well as it once did. The result is visible loss of firmness, pliability, and diminished appearance of plumpness and suppleness.
Enter the amazing HA! Just one gram of HA can hold up to six litres of water, and without tipping the scales and giving skin too much (too much water is a problem for skin because it causes key substances holding skin’s surface intact to break down, but that’s another story). HA can enhance moisture content more than anything else, and at the same time revitalise skin’s outer layers so they look and feel softer and smoother. That’s how it instantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
HA is also incredibly gentle, for even the most sensitive, redness-prone skin. In fact, its positive influence on skin’s surface is due in part to its natural calming benefit, which means it can help sensitive skin as well as blemish-prone skin.
Which brings me to the amazing HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator from SkinMedica, a line founded by pioneers in the science of skin rejuvenation back in 1999. As co-founder, the renowned dermatologist Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick had a vision to develop a better way to slow the ageing process and unlock the potential of the skin to heal from within; and in 1999, the groundbreaking scientifically based skin care line called SkinMedica was born. Since then it has releases some of the most groundbreaking products on the market, which although not cheap, do exactly what they say they are going to do. And that’s very good things.
So, what makes HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator different from most formulas containing HA? Well for starters, it has a proprietary mix of five HA forms that smooth the skin, thereby decreasing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The 5 HA's work synergistically to provide immediate smoothing and continuous hydration throughout the day.
The five are:
1. Time Release HA: a SkinMedica proprietary ingredient for sustained release of HA
2. Sodium Hyaluronate: for immediate hydration, SH is a salt derived from HA that has all its benefits, but with one extra advantage - it’s more easily absorbed.
3. Uncross-linked HA: for smoothness and hydration
4. Nano HA: to soothe skin
5. Cross-Linked HA: to provide long-lasting hydration for up to 8 hours
Along with all that it also harnesses potent antioxidants found in Vitis Flower Stem Cell Extract, Peptide Complex to support rejuvenation and hydration, and Polysaccharides from French Polynesia for healthy-looking skin. These all work to support skin's ability to replenish its own hyaluronic acid for overall skin health. Amazing.
So how does it feel? It is seriously so, so silky. It creates an even canvas for applying makeup, and is beautiful at night before a rich moisturiser for when you skin is seriously looking for a good quench. I read that you can even apply the hydrator under your eyes to help smooth under-eye bags in the morning, and it makes your concealer look flawless.
I first heard about this incredible product from Dr. Sarah Hart at Skin Institute, and although it doesn’t come cheap at $310.50 for 56.7g, if you can afford it then I highly recommend that you give it a whirl. Or hey – give up all of those $120-plus fancy serums and creams promising the world and go for one that works… your skin will thank you for it.

Love it: Lancôme's new Matte Juicy Shaker

Lancôme created the iconic "glossy without attracting every hair to your face" Juicy Tube lipgloss back in the nineties, a product that every woman I know over the age of about 30 has many a fond memory of. I myself had something like eight different shades in my arsenal at one point, and I was never without at least two on my person!
The brand struck the ultimate old school chord when it introduced Juicy Shakers to its lineup last year, another huge hit with all who tried them. We couldn’t help but fall in love with the cocktail shaker shape of the packaging and its super clever shake -to-blend oil formula, and the shade range was on point. Lancôme rarely puts a foot wrong, and everything about Juicy Shakers was just SO right.
Now they are introducing the Matte Shaker, which hits stores and the Lancôme website in May. The cocktail shaker shape may be familiar, but this baby is a whole new type of lip formula in and of itself. This iteration takes super moisturising ingredient Vitamin E and blends it with liquid pigments 10 times thinner than your average lipstick to create a truly amazing, featherlight formula that the brand describes as having a "tattoo feel texture”. I don’t know about that myself, but I do know that it is fast drying, has an incredible wear time and is a heck of a lot of fun to use!
The new shaker will come in seven shades, including the super sexy true red shade Kiss Me Cherie (374), which I have been playing with for the past few weeks. The matte look is soft and never chalky, making it a super flattering option even for those with drier skin types that fear matte can weigh their makeup look down. Next on my wish list us the nude rose, Beige Vintage (270), which looks like the perfect neutral.
So in conclusion… Lancôme's Matte Shaker is definitely not sheer and not exactly that juicy – it’s just a killer formula that is destined to go down in beauty history as a true icon of the matte era. All you have to do is shake and swipe, it doesn't get much easier than that! Well you can get a little creative with it like Ms. Taylor Hill above, but that's another story...
Lancôme's Matte Juicy Shakers are in store May 22, RRP NZD $45.00. And yes, you’ll want them all!

All about: Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced

With Czech-born, global citizen Eva Herzigova as its ambassadress, Dior’s fresh new release Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced is already off to a flying start. Add to that an innovative, high performance formula that takes the original Capture Totale Dreamskin to heady new heights, and you have the perfect mix of luxury, science and beauty.
The Dior aim when creating Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced was to help women achieve flawless, beautiful skin, but coupled with a return to authenticity. In 2017, from Paris to Seoul via Los Angeles, women want to be naturally flawless – a better version of themselves. Just as they approach a strong body from within by adhering to a regime that combines yoga, meditation and organic food, modern women want healthy, vibrant skin. A luminous face that also looks completely natural.
Herzigova’s own anti-ageing philosophy is that “we should all discover who we are at every step of our life and enjoy that person”, and the new Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced collection fits with that brief by being suitable for women from 40 onwards of all races. What these women have in common is the aforementioned desire to look their best at any age, coupled with an often-hectic agenda that offers no respite. They are looking for hybrid, portable skincare that intelligently adapts to their skin, desires and lifestyle, because they are all unique. Their ideal routine? An instant transformation and maximum effectiveness… in a minimum of time.
Dreamskin Advanced Formula is the advanced version of Dior's original DreamSkin product, made for more corrective qualities and comfort. The upgraded version of the cult beauty buy kicks proceedings off with a more comfortable texture, going on to provide more blur and more brightness while keeping the "global age-defying treatment and a perfect skin creator" tag. Leaving the skin smooth, matte and luminous, it uses new generation mica coupled with Dior Science’s own unique ingredient, 3D Cell Shade - multi-faceted, grainy molecules – for the ultimate in soft focus without the filters.
Next up is the Dreamskin Advanced 1-Minute Mask, which Herzigova calls her “biggest beauty secret” now available to all. Called “the instant perfector” by Dior, the mask uses the best chemical exfoliants - salicylic acid (BHA), glycolic and citric acids (AHA), flower acids –carefully selected for their efficacy, which have then been optimally concentrated to transform skin in just a single minute. The complexion is immediately brightened, with imperfections diminished. Skin looks completely rejuvenated, in record time.
Invisible to the naked eye, encapsulated pearls in the highly sensorial formula release their illuminating powers upon application: when the skin is massaged, in addition to the mechanical invigorating effect, the capsules release luminous pigments which then boost the skin’s tone and enhance radiance. The skin’s tone is immediately glowing and fresh, making it the perfect skincare offering in your arsenal to apply before a night out.
But the last word must go to Herzigova, who says: “the Dior brand represents the highest quality in making of cosmetics and fashion. The love and care behind all research and choice of ingredients are the highest of quality. This really does fulfil every woman's dream”.
