All about: the new L'Oréal Professionnel Get Dusty range

It seems that the word ‘texture’ is all I hear from the country’s - and the world’s - top hair stylists these days, signalling one hell of a trend that’s clearly not going anywhere in a hurry. It’s a trend that’s also highly achievable for almost any hair type when you’ve got the right products on hand, and the latest range from L'Oréal Professionnel - called Get Dusty - has three stellar examples that you need in your haircare arsenal right now.
Part of their techni.art range, Get Dusty is a small but perfectly formed range that caters for all hair types and is made up of my current obsession - dry shampoo and hair powders. The Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo is a little ripper, with highly oil-absorbent micro fibres to extend the life of your blow-dry or instantly refresh hair in between washes. It quickly lifts hair and scalp residue, is highly translucent and has a light floral scent that doesn’t overpower or linger too long like several other formulas I’ve tried over the past year.
For the Fine and Curly haired ladies, there is Texture Dust to give your delicate locks the oomph they need. Featuring a Force 1 hold, the powdered formula of Texture Dust allows you to create a full-bodied effect at the roots with lightweight movement through the ends i.e. the ultimate in just-got-out-of-bed hair. It comes in a nifty handbag size too, so you can chuck it in your carryall and apply as you need throughout the day or evening. For the Medium and Thick haired girls like me, Super Dust is for you. It has a Force 3 hold styling strength to help you get voluminous bombshell body and a lasting matte finish.
The latter two are also able to be mixed with serums or sprays for a combination of shine and hold, or paste for the defined, ‘piece-y’ look that is all over shorter styles this season.
Available right now, L’Oréal Professionnel Fresh Dust, Texture Dust Force 01 Styling Powder and Super Dust Force 03 Styling Powder all have an RRP of $33.00 and are well worth checking out.
