Beauty review: the MECCA MAX MOCHA TO THE MAX VALUE SET

Looking at the latest backstage reports and street style round ups, it’s becoming clear that brown is the new black this season—at least when it comes to the most obsessed over eye makeup trends. Whether it’s a subtle brown mascara, shimmering bronze shadow, or smudged-out espresso liner, it’s one makeup hue that truly looks flattering on everyone.

I hadn’t previously played with the brand’s Off Duty Liquid Blush in the shade ‘Spice’, but now I’m hooked on it for the cooler months when my complexion needs all the warming up it can get. It’s easily buildable and heavily pigmented so definitely start with a light application, then add as needed for a heavenly flush. The Pout Pencil in ‘Super’ is another shade already in my kit and perfect for a bold, sharp lip, and can also be beautifully blurred once you add the caramel-toned lip oil on top.
