A daily essential for me even prior to the Great Pandemic Handwashing Horror of 2020 (and beyond), I love a great hand cream. It has to hydrate and it has to soothe, and if it comes with a little added moment of luxury and a beautiful scent? It goes straight to the top of the pile.
This was why it was with great excitement that I greeted the arrival of Glasshouse Fragrances new Make It Personal Hand Collection, which the ever-inspiring brand calls “a re-imagination of fragrance through exquisitely crafted formulations and earth-friendly design”.
Luxurious, clean, and now enriched with native Australian botanicals, the Make It Personal Hand Collection is made up of a Hand Wash, Hand Lotion, Hand Cream, and Hand Duos that seamlessly blend Glasshouse Fragrances’ renowned scents with the potency of essential oils and native botanical extracts. An exercise in everyday fragrance layering for the wrist down, the collection is chic and elevated, but also super user-friendly thanks to clean, active formulations that care for skin and are gentle on the planet.

At the heart of the collection are six of the brand’s most beloved fragrances: Marseille Memoir, Lost in Amalfi, Kyoto in Bloom, Montego Bay Rhythm, The Hamptons (online exclusive) and, for the first time, the iconic A Tahaa Affair. Designed to cleanse, nourish, and hydrate, each product is infused with skincare-level ingredients like Kakadu Plum, Caviar Lime, and Açai Oil, which work harmoniously to care for your skin while leaving a delicate, lingering scent. With thoughtfully redesigned, recyclable packaging, the collection ticks every box when it comes to handcare that cares.

One of my personal picks from the collection is the Hand Care Duo with Tray, which is available in scents Lost in Amalfi, Kyoto in Bloom, and A Tahaa Affair. It is made up of the newly reformulated Hand Wash - that now comes enriched with Australian botanicals - and the lightweight Hand Lotion, both designed to sit together on the accompanying Flow Resin tray. So perfect for gifting, and most definitely chic enough to sit atop any bathroom vanity or kitchen benchtop.
I also love the new non-greasy and rejuvenating hand cream, which is enriched with White Turmeric and Tamanu Oil protects and comforts hands, leaving the skin plumped with moisture, nourished and beautifully fragranced. And as with all Glasshouse Fragrances products, the new Hand Collection is free from parabens, silicones, and sulphates, and is not tested on animals. Just beautiful!
