Love it: Dr. Hauschka Med Ice Plant Face Cream

As someone with extremely sensitive skin at times – and eczema to boot – I have to be acutely aware of changes in temperature and the like, as well as keeping help on hand when itchiness and irritation hits. My toddler son is the same, and we are always on the hunt for the latest and greatest to add to our first aid kit.
The latest we’ve fallen in love with comes from the Dr. Hauschka Med range, and is known as Ice Plant Face Cream. I’m a huge fan of the brand’s Ice Plant Cream for use on the body, but this new formula takes things to another level and has been blended to work beautifully on the delicate skin of the face.
A hydrating composition of premium botanical oils are in there to provide the skin with immediate protection; whilst the rich freshly pressed juice of the ice plant and the precious oil of white poppy harmonise to impart the skin with lasting stability.
The juice of the ice plant has long lasting soothing and moisturising effects on dry skin. It’s a true specialist when it comes to getting water, and thrives on sand/clay and even salty soils. Its secret lies in its green - or sometimes intensely red - leaves, which are thick and succulent and covered with glittering fluid reservoirs which sparkle in the sun like dew drops or ice crystals. It’s a pretty incredible plant, and in this wee tube of cream can be a real lifesaver if dryness and itching are the bane of your life. The new product was developed in cooperation with experienced dermatologists, who also recommend the use of this fragrance-free product for children.
You can use it regularly to restore skin’s balance, or just when you need it. Apply 1 to 2 pumps of cream to your face on a daily basis, and as it is rapidly absorbed it is totally suitable for use under makeup as well. Love it!

  1. Hi there,

I've just been reading about this cream, I have a dry flaky patch which keeps coming back! The rest of my skin is pretty normal, would this fo the trick do you think or would rose cream be better?

    Thanks

  2. I think this would be amazing - use it as a treatment and then go onto Rose (my favourite) as it clears : )
