All about: Stila's rather clever One Step Correct

If they call superstar facialist Kate Somerville the “Goddess of Glow”, then I believe that Chris Devlin from the Ponsonby Mecca Cosmetica store just might be the closest I’ll ever get to a personal god of the same, expertly mixing up a cocktail of clever formulations to prep my skin each and every time he does my makeup (I know, lucky me!).
I popped in a couple of days ago for a turn in the chair before a photo shoot, and once again spent my time quizzing him about what he was using and why (and for the record, I left looking like I had my own lighting crew). He pulled out some amazing new products I’d never seen before, one of which can be seen above – Stila’s One Step Correct.
It might look more like a DNA sample, but it’s actually a silicone-free primer, colour corrector, brightener, and anti-aging skincare serum all in one little wonder. The innovative, triple-swirled helix serum instantly colour corrects, brightens and covers skin imperfections for a flawless face with no fuss, and the seemingly weightless, creamy formula blended imperceptibly into my skin without clogging pores or settling into my fine lines.
It’s the newest addition to Stila's One Step category, which is set to include even more innovative products as time goes on. Chris is a huge fan of Stila Creator and Makeup Artist Jeanine Lobell, who he says is “really intent unveiling some unique new products that will take the brand to a whole new level.” If this clever product is anything to go by then that is super exciting news indeed!
