Orly have just released a rather cute, small but perfectly formed limited edition collection of polishes that goes by the name ‘Birds of a Feather’. It definitely has something for everyone, and is also totally trans-seasonal to boot. Inspired – obviously – by some pretty spectacular plumage out there in the natural world, it has a hint of old world glamour about it that I love. My pick of the bunch must be the sparkly purple Fowl Play (far left, horrendous name, beautiful shade!), which is a perfect choice for long winter nights as well as adding a touch of sophistication to more casual summer styles. As well as Fowl Play, the Birds of a Feather collection also includes (L-R) Lucky Duck (a teal-green crème), Nite Owl (a shimmering, totally modern nude), Peachy Parrot (a coppery coral), Sea Gurl (a very on trend gunmetal grey) and Sweet Peacock (a metallic blue). Like I said, something for everyone, and the usual Orly long wearing formula too.
