All about: ELIZABETH ARDEN’s newest formulas to plump up and glow

The name Elizabeth Arden is synonymous with ongoing beauty innovation, but particularly with its iconic capsules, which allow the perfect dose of skincare to be delivered each and every time. Recognised for 150 beauty awards over 30 years, the legendary brand reigns as the global leader in monodose technology, and their current lineup includes nourishing Advanced Ceramide, line-erasing Retinol and brightening Vitamin C. Did you know that their capsules are biodegradable on top of presenting a most efficient and hygienic skincare delivery system too? All of which definitely gets a huge tick from me.

There I am! 

The brand has now expanded their considerable lineup with the newly improved Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum, and all-new Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Hydra-Plumping Water Cream, which work beautifully together to support natural Hyaluronic Acid synthesis – something I, for one, need more of in my life. Designed to slip easily into both morning and night routines, they also feature what is known as Size-Shifting Hyaluronic Acid technology (a process that temporarily shrinks molecules of HA to allow deeper skin penetration, then allows them to expand back to their original size) and a Peptide Complex to support natural collagen, both of which I learned more about over a breakfast event (above) with the brand last week.

A little more detail on each…

The Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum
This formula uses micro-HA that are 500-times smaller than traditional Hyaluronic Acid to deeply penetrate the skin’s surface layers. Once absorbed, they expand to fill and plump the skin, so it looks firmer, while supporting the skin’s natural ability to synthesise Hyaluronic Acid and retain moisture over time. The Peptide Complex then steps in to support natural collagen, helping to firm, fill, and volumise the skin.

Designed to visibly firm and restore, this new water cream is a lightweight moisturiser infused with next-generation Hyaluronic Acid and collagen-supporting Peptides. Delivering up to 240 hours of lasting hydration, the it literally drenches skin in moisture, leaving it looking plump, smooth, and refreshed, and thus far I am loving it for trans seasonal skin woes.
At the heart of the formula is 5D Hyaluronic Acid technology, which utilises five different types and molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate multiple surface layers of skin for both instant and lasting hydration. The phytoceramides in the cream then replenish and restore the skin’s moisture barrier and lock in hydration, while exosomes support collagen and protein synthesis. Additionally, over 16,000 Peptides help support the natural synthesis of collagen, promoting firmer-looking skin with a youthful bounce.

Both of these babies are suitable for all sorts of skin types, and I think they will be a winning combo for mature skin types like me in particular when the warmer weather hits and thicker creams just feel too much. They have slotted seamlessly into my routine with results hopefully soon to come, but for now they feel so lightweight but plumping on the skin and a total joy to use. Highly recommend x
