Beauty review: Playing with BellaVi

I have to confess that before I was sent some of their incredibly efficacious products to discover and try, I had never heard of New Zealand beauty brand BellaVi. How on earth that was possible I have no idea, for I fell quickly for their many impressive charms.
BellaVi is a multi-accredited and independently validated MediCert brand that was established an amazing 15 years ago, and it is now one of the most trusted, leading accredited and validated Natureceutical Cosmetics® brand in the New Zealand beauty therapy, Medi-spa and leading beauty therapy training institutes. Owner Melissa Furze is passionate about offering women validated, safe, natural products that help to improve and protect your skin's health and vitality, and if the ones I’ve been trialling are anything to go by, she most definitely nailed that brief.
Multi-award winning, BellaVi is a brand dedicated to creating validated Cosmeceutical Skincare centred around the latest innovations in proven natural bio-active ingredients shown to revitalise skin stem cells and fibroblast cells, stimulating collagen and elastin. This process of deep-seated stimulation helps support the skin's extracellular matrix own self-healing ability at various layers, helping to combat the visible effects of ageing and have skin looking and feeling its optimal best.

The brand’s Derma Peel Skin Renew Active 10% (above) is an award winner with good reason. With new generation advancements in patented microdermabrasion treatment systems for exfoliating and cleansing the skin, it is the perfect product for right now when skin really needs a little extra help post-summer and pre-depths of winter. The formula’s exfoliating action helps evenly smooth and remove sebum excess and dead skin cells to reveal cleaner, brighter and healthier looking skin, and all without causing irritations or abrasions. Great to keep in the shower for use once or twice a week (or more depending on your skin type), at its heart is an ingredient called Arbutin, which reduces the skin’s pigment production, evens out skin tones, and helps reduce levels of dark pigmentations. It also has Mānuka honey in the mix, which has been shown to protect human dermal fibroblasts against oxidative damage by improving antioxidant response.

Now not only does BellaVi offer perfect synergy of natural ingredients crafted to create beautiful cosmetics, Melissa has also created a boutique collection of Naturalceutical Cosmetics®, dermatologically tested to care for your skin and designed for high definition and all-day makeup solutions. Specifically formulated for all ages and skin types – including post-procedure and sensitised - it also comes dermatologically tested and thus kind on skin.
The Loose Pure Mineral Foundation has been my favourite from the products I have been trialling so far, with a full coverage finish with a lightweight feel. The soft dewy look it imparts in super flattering, and it’s designed not to clog pores so great if you suffer from acne. Independently dermatologically tested in the USA to be a non-primary irritant to the skin, it’s the perfect solution for sensitive skin, rosacea, and pigmentation and can be used after specialist cosmetic procedures and treatments including peels, IPL, waxing and microdermabrasion.
Last but by no means least, BellaVi uses only ethical and sustainably sourced minerals in their mineral products, with no GMO ingredients, Bismuth Oxychloride, talc, nano particles, parabens or synthetic preservatives. How great is that? And how did I not know of this brand before? Either way, I’m very glad I do now.
