One of my all time ‘happy places’ is East Day Spa in Auckland - along with its sister spa Spring Spa in St. Heliers and Spring Spa in Queenstown, where I’ve just had the pleasure of whiling away an afternoon!
All three do a fine line in both treatments and promotions, and are mostly definitely the place to be come Valentine’s Day preparations and celebrations.
This year the spa has partnered with luxury charter operator, Inflite, to offer the Ultimate Valentine’s Day Package exclusively for February 14th that will undoubtedly “ensure love is taken to new heights”. Highlights of the fabulous package, which comes with a price tag of $33,000.00, includes luxury car hire to a secret picnic location, a gourmet lunch prepared by a celebrity chef, a helicopter flight around greater Auckland, 5.5 hours of pure indulgence at East Day Spa Auckland, dinner at The Sugar Club by Peter Gordon, and an overnight luxury boat charter complete with waiting staff, a violinist and a four course degustation breakfast. Amazing!
If that’s a little outside your nearest and dearest’s budget then perhaps steer them in the direction of their range of specially-created treatments, which range in price from $75.00-$360.00 and come in the form of:
* Sparkle - 45 minutes and includes a complimentary piccolo of Moet, thirty minute Shellac manicure OR Shellac pedicure and Shellac deluxe add-on, which includes soak, cuticle work, scrub and massage ($75.00).
