MECCA COSMETICA’S CULT PALETTE IS BACK!

Earlier this year, those wonderful people at MECCA COSMETICA launched a new, limited-edition complexion palette called the In A Good Light Illuminating Palette - a reimagined take on a cult-favourite, designed to bring skin into its best light. Inspired by the original Enlightened Powder and available in three delicious shades, it promptly sold out – prompting many a sad face amongst fans of the brand who were too slow to snap one up. Well thankfully, she’s back – with First Sunlight, Golden Hour and Dusk Skies each sporting four luminous, finely milled powders to blur, bronze, blush and brighten for an effortless, skin-perfecting glow. Beyond premium in performance and good looks, this beauty was crafted in Italy and is a must-have in every kit. So don’t muck around this time, and even grab a spare if you can!
The In A Good Light Illuminating Palette retails for $105, and is available now exclusively at MECCA stores and online at mecca.com.

NEWNESS FROM DYSON BEAUTY HAS LANDED

When Dyson Beauty drops a new product, you just know it’s going to be something expertly honed and impeccably crafted, and the brand’s first scalp formulation, Dyson Amino doesn’t not disappoint. Clinically proven to help reduce hair loss by 63 percent, oil by 62 percent and visible flakes by 88 percent, the lightweight, foaming leave-in treatment made from Dyson Farming barley is an absolute winner. With farm-grown barley and skincare-grade ingredients, it’s a breakthrough in scalp barrier support and anti-ageing care, reinforcing the belief that healthy hair really does begin at the root. A healthy scalp supports healthy hair growth, and protecting the scalp barrier is essential to maintaining balance, hydration and resilience. This beauty makes that even more achievable, with zero sticky after-feel and suitable for all hair types.
Dyson Amino is available now, with an RRP of $95.

ELIZABETH ARDEN ADDS TO ITS RETINOL + HPR OFFERING

Over a beautiful lunch at my favourite, Gilt Brasserie last week, Elizabeth Arden unveiled its latest innovation, the new Retinol + HPR Ceramide Rapid Skin Renewing Eye Cream. Joining the highly efficacious, award-winning Retinol + HPR franchise with aplomb, it makes a skin health trifecta along with Retinol + HPR Ceramide Capsules and Water Cream, and I’m excited. Like its full-face predecessors, the formula features High-Performance Retinol (HPR), a powerful yet gentle retinoid well-suited for the delicate eye area, without the irritation traditionally associated with retinol. This multi-benefit eye cream immediately improves the look of crow’s feet, dark circles and puffiness, helping to visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles and strengthen the skin’s barrier over time. I also love that its advanced airless packaging preserves potency, ensuring each application is as effective as the first.
The new Retinol + HPR Ceramide Rapid Skin Renewing Eye Cream is available now, with an RRP of $151.

BOOST LAB BUILDS ON ITS VIRAL NECK SERUM SUCCESS

With one sold every minute, it’s safe to say that BOOST LAB’s Neck Serum was a runaway success. Now the affordable-but-high-performance skincare brand is building on its success with the launch of Pro-Lift Neck & Décolletage Cream, a targeted treatment designed to lift, firm and smooth sagging skin. Powered by collagen amino acids, kangaroo paw flower nectar extract, an algae-derived skin-firming complex and peptide technology, the luxe formula is designed to visibly lift, smooth and redefine the neck and jawline. Early testing showed visible results within hours, with continued improvements over time, helping skin look firmer and smoother with ongoing use. I’ve only just started using this beauty after being gifted a sample, and I have to say it has the most premium feel and is seriously hydrating. I’m excited to see its progress!
The BOOST LAB Pro-Lift Neck & Décolletage Cream is available now for $64.95 at boostlabco.com.

AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK 2026 PAIRS ONCE AGAIN WITH SHARK BEAUTY

The Australian Fashion Council (AFC), the official organiser of Australian Fashion Week (AFW), announced over breakfast last week that Shark Beauty will return as presenting partner for Australian Fashion Week 2026, alongside the unveiling of this year’s designer lineup and program. AFW will take place from 11–15 May with the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) as its central hub and activations across Sydney, and promises to build on the serious strength of last year’s outing. AFC Executive Chair Marianne Perkovic said: “We are excited to welcome Shark Beauty back as presenting partner for Australian Fashion Week 2026, building on the momentum of our inaugural partnership and further strengthening the natural connection between fashion and beauty.” Designer runway shows and presentations for 2026 include some of my personal favourites like Aje, Alix Higgins, Bianca Spender, Carla Zampatti, Gary Bigeni, Nagnata, Nicol & Ford and Toni Maticevski, with more to be announced.
