Hair how to: Camila Cabello at the Grammys 2023

Always hitting those angles with aplomb, Camila Cabello looked every inch tousled bombshell on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 5, wearing a sexy number from PatBo.
The “Havana” singer strutted her stuff in a dainty bralette made of pearls, teamed with a high-waisted black skirt that clung to every God-given curve. Cabello complemented the look with a dream hair and makeup look to match, that delivered serious ‘effortless beauty’ vibes that I think we can all get behind!
The L’Oréal Paris spokesmodel’s makeup look was by Ash K Holm, the iconic celebrity makeup artist known for working with the Kardashians, Ariana Grande, Megan Fox and Shay Mitchell. Cabello’s entire beauty look featured affordable products by L’Oréal Paris, including the L’Oréal Paris Makeup True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer Lotion, Infallible Grip Precision Felt Eyeliner and Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick in the shade “Le Nude Admirable”.

Her effortless ‘do gave me major hair inspiration, created by celebrity hair stylist, Dimitris Giannetos. Thankfully he was happy to share the details of how he created the superstar’s modern and effortless hairstyle - with a little help from Dyson - so that we all can bring some of the Grammy glamour to the everyday.
Cabello was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her track with Ed Sheeran, "Bam Bam", and when tasked with creating a look for the Grammy nominee, Dimitris - who also styles stars such as Megan Fox, Nicole Scherzinger and supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio – says he "wanted to keep the hair very modern and effortless with lots of texture and a rock n roll twist!”

The full breakdown – in the star stylist’s own words - is thus:
Step 1: I started by drying her hair with the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer ($649), which helped protect her hair from static.
Step 2: Then I added some tape in extensions from Great Lengths in three different shades in order to create some dimension and have more contrast. The colours I used were number 3 Natural, Ombré Number 1B with 5 ends and number 5 with 8 ends. I razored the extensions for the perfect blend!
Step 3: Then I started bending her hair with the cordless Dyson Corrale straightener ($749) . The Corrale let me create exactly the texture I wanted and at the same time protects the hair from the heat. I sprayed every section with Elnett Everpure 21 in 1 Colour Caring Spray in order to hold the bend and add some extra texture
Step 4: Lastly, I sprayed the hair with my favourite hairspray - Elnett by L’Oréal Paris with an unscented smell. It has a strong hold without making the hair sticky and heavy. The Elnett helped hold the look for the entire night of the Grammys and also protects the hair from humidity on the red carpet
