Valentine's Day: CONVERSE meets Alex Consani in the “LOVE ME, LOVE ME NOT” CAMPAIGN

I’m a long-time Converse stan, and an unabashed sucker for anything featuring a heart motif (I even have one tattooed on my hand, the obsession is real). With all of this in mind, for Valentine’s Day I couldn’t help but post the new collection and campaign from the iconic footwear brand, which stars the heavenly Alex Consani and brilliantly demonstrates opposing attitudes towards the most hyped of days.
For Val’s Day 2025, Converse has turned the focus to a different celebration of love—self-love—with the launch of the “Love Me, Love Me Not” campaign starring 2024 Model of the Year and all-around it girl Consani. The new spot features Consani as both the flirty and feminine “Love Me” girl and the edgy and cool “Love Me Not,” who turn a lonely date night into a real party for one (well, two).

As frustrations with dating, app burnout, and go-nowhere situationships hit an all-time high, the creative team at Converse wanted to highlight the fact that more than a few people are reclaiming their time and energy for themselves. It’s an ode to the independent lover, the total catch who no longer feels like they need to endlessly swipe and find a perfect person to go to that new restaurant, see that show, or go that new museum exhibit.
On a date with her alter ego, the model’s sweet angel side loves the rosette-covered high tops in the soft shade of egret, while her devilish side is all-in on the black leather Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel Platform boots. Obsessed.
The collection includes low tops, heels, Mary Janes and kicks for the little ones, and I might just have to treat myself to a new pair of Chucks in honour of my own bad self.

The limited edition “Love Me, Love Me Not” Valentine’s Day collection is on sale now, while stocks last.
