Beauty news: MECCA expands its partnership with Sans [ceuticals]

In huge news for the brand and its endlessly inspiring founder, pioneering New Zealand beauty name Sans [ceuticals] will be the first New Zealand body and haircare brand to debut in MECCA stores across Australia and New Zealand.
From 28 May 2024, the global beauty juggernaut will expand its partnership with New Zealand's own Sans [ceuticals], exclusively launching its skin and hair care collection into an amazing 44 MECCA doors across Australia and New Zealand.
Launching online with MECCA in 2020, Sans [ceuticals] quickly became a customer favourite, offering a fresh and considered approach to hair, body and skincare. A pioneer, since 2009 Sans [ceuticals] has taken a facial-grade approach to body products, combining multifunctionality with gold-standard active ingredients for top-to-toe rejuvenation at a cellular level. Today, the “skinification” of the hair and body and “The Everything Shower” are driving huge demand that is seeing these categories become the fastest-growing at MECCA, and I couldn’t be more excited for Sans [ceuticals] founder, Lucy Vincent and her team.

I first started using products from the brand in its early days, even being lucky enough to trial some releases well before launch. Lucy’s dedication to product development and transparency has been incredible to watch, and she has never wavered from her initial mission to create skincare-grade, active hair and bodycare with zero nasties on board. To call her a veritable powerhouse when it comes to all things beauty and innovation would be an understatement – and so many of the products I first started using years ago are still in my bathroom cabinet (usually near-empty!). The brand has seen my body through pregnancy, two cancer diagnoses and more, and has never let me down when it comes to efficacy and a damn luxurious experience when I needed it most.
Alison Scanlon, MECCA’s Head of Emerging Categories says Sans [ceuticals]’ philosophy aligns perfectly with the trends we’re seeing in market. “We’ve heard the cries for an in-store presence since the Sans [ceuticals] launch, and know it will be very well-received by our beauty-obsessed community as the hair and body categories continue to expand”.

 Sans [ceuticals] founder, Lucy Vincent

Founded by Lucy whilst still immersed in a career as an international award-winning hairdresser with a chain of influential salons, Sans [ceuticals] was created to fill a gap, to offer products that were good for your body and the environment, while also delivering results. To achieve this, Sans dials up active ingredients to a high dose level for visible results, while keeping an ingredients, formulations and sustainability focus at the forefront.
“Our vision has always been to equip our customers with salon-quality, sustainable products that make their daily hair, face and body routines effortless,” says Lucy. “Using facial-quality ingredients in multifunctional products elevates everyday rituals into luxurious pleasures.”

Think: the regular sell-out Cellular Repair Body + Face Lotion, ultimate hair hydrator Nourishing Hair Hydrating Ultra+, along with the newly enhanced Activator 7 Body + Hair + Face Oil that combines optimal dosages of Vitamins A, E, and Lipo-C for maximum skin health. And yep, I use them all!
