Mother’s Day gift idea: Glasshouse Fragrances’ Ode To Women collection

There are six beautiful gifting options in the collection, but my favourites have to be the candle and diffuser, pictured. Both feature a soft, elegant fragrance that was formulated at the GLASSHOUSE FRAGRANCES atelier, reportedly with the delicious brief to “echo the comforting sensation of being wrapped in soft cashmere wool”. This has most definitely been achieved thanks to the base note of cashmere essence, and lavender for an extra soothing and seductive embrace. Sitting firmly in the oriental fragrance family, for Ode To Women Cashmere Essence and Wild Lavender are joined by Warm Musk for a beautifully bold yet unabashedly soft scent.
It goes without saying that the candle is made with a natural lead-free cotton wick and the highest quality non-toxic soy blend wax for a burn that is pure and intensely fragrant, and it contains zero parabens, silicones or PEGs. I am obsessed by the artwork on the vessel, which will definitely be used once the scent is gone for storing makeup brushes or similar, and is definitely too beautiful to be hidden away.
