How to: Karen Walker X M.A.C at the Marr Factory 2015

New Zealand born, internationally acclaimed designer Karen Walker’s show at the Marr Factory each year is always a hot ticket, and never disappoints.

Last night it took place at the heavenly Golden Dawn, and saw a riot of colour and prints strut their stuff through the venue in what could be called a ‘harmony of chaos’. The name was The Time Machine and M.A.C Senior Artist Kiekie Stanners created the most perfect makeup look to match.

Key products used were the ever-popular backstage fave M.A.C Face and Body Foundation for a base, before M.A.C Out For Fun Casual Colour was pressed onto the cheeks for a natural flush.  Eyes had M.A.C Hi Def Cyan Acrylic Paint applied to inner half of eye and set with M.A.C Reflects Blue; whilst M.A.C Dipdown Fluidline was applied to the outer corner of eye and set with M.A.C Blue Brown Pigment. M.A.C Upward Lash Mascara (a new fave of mine) took lashes skyward, and M.A.C Myth Lipstick was the lip of choice.
