RevitaLash Cosmetics unveil their Pink Program plans for 2023

As a two-time breast cancer survivor, I always appreciate it when a beauty brand decides to “go pink” for the cause and actually commits to it year after year. A lot don’t, believe me! Many a brand will jump on the bandwagon to leverage a few sales, then disappear the following year when a newer, shinier charity takes their eye.
This is vastly unlike RevitaLash Cosmetics, who are proud supporters year-round of breast cancer initiatives, doing amazing things at a grass roots level for women enduring some of the toughest times of their lives. The brand’s Pink Program is key to this initiative, which was created in order that RevitaLash Cosmetics Founder and CEO, Michael Brinkenhoff, M.D. could honour and carryon the legacy of his late wife, who was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at the age of 32.
In 2022, the brand successfully achieved their goal of donating $50,000 to giving partner City of Hope to fund breast cancer treatment, research, and nursing education in the underserved region of sub- Saharan Africa. This program has made a tangible difference in patient outcomes and was honoured by the White House during an official event recognizing private sector businesses whose philanthropic endeavours are advancing cancer research in Africa. RevitaLashCosmetics is proud to continue its support this year for City of Hope's Ethiopia Breast Cancer Initiative with a donation of $40,000.
In addition to their global impact goals, RevitaLashCosmetics is doubling down on their commitment to the local communities where their partners operate – and yes, New Zealand is a key player in this. Through the company’s matching donation program, they will match contributions made by their international distribution partners to the local breast cancer charity of their choice. This program provides partners an opportunity to make a significant impact on breast cancer initiatives in their respective regions, and further RevitaLashCosmetics’ global support.
"At RevitaLash Cosmetics, we believe that together, we can make a difference,” said Dariel Sidney, Vice President of Philanthropy and Gayle Brinkenhoff's eldest daughter. “Through our Pink mission, we invite our global partners to unite and create a lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer. We are proud to support City of Hope's Ethiopia Breast Cancer Initiative and are thrilled to empower our distributors to make a difference in their local communities as well. By working together, we can drive positive change and improve the lives of those affected by breast cancer worldwide."

RevitaLashCosmetics is a proud, year-round supporter of breast cancer awareness and fundraising via their Eternally Pink® pledge. This year from October 1 through October 31 2023, the brand’s award- winning products will be housed in celebratory pink sleeves to honour the cause. For every pink special-edition RevitaLashAdvanced, RevitaLashAdvanced Sensitive (my personal fave), and RevitaBrow Advanced sold, the company will donate $2 to breast cancer charities around the globe, up to a maximum donation of $170,000.
In New Zealand, RevitaLashCosmetics fundraise for Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October in association with Look Good Feel Better, a New Zealand charity who run a phenomenal free program and workshops to support people navigating cancer treatment. For every pink product sold in NZ throughout the month of October, a one-month supply of RevitaLashAdvanced Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaBrow®Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner or their new RevitaLashAdvanced Sensitive Eyelash Conditioner will be donated to Look Good Feel Better NZ (up to a maximum donation of 3,000 units).
RevitaLashCosmetics New Zealand are also planning to hold their annual ‘Eat Drink Pink’ Fundraising Event on September 23 to fundraise for local charity Pinc and Steel who provide support to people affected by cancer with their cancer treatment rehabilitation programmes. I’ll be in Europe for this year’s event, but will be sending all my good vibes to the amazing RevitaLash New Zealand team for what promises to be a very special day.

The limited-edition pink products are available in selected spa and salon partners nationwide and online at revitalash.co.nz from 1 October 2023, so start saving and get stocking up in just under a month!
