Beauty news: Revlon launches Super Lustrous Virtual Mirror App

I’ve never been good with using a beauty tester at the best of times, but during the current pandemic? Hell no! Especially when it comes to the likes of lipstick, with counters all over the world shuttering down tester samples in the hopes of one day controlling the spread of coronavirus.
Iconic beauty brand Revlon has cleverly created a new way to test shades of the global best-selling Super Lustrous lipstick formula by expanding into the technology sector with the launch of their innovative Super Lustrous® Virtual Mirror App. Their solution to the removal of testers in store due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it allows users to test and shop all 54 shades of Super Lustrous Lipstick on any Apple device. Once users select their shade, the app links directly to Chemist Warehouse online in Australia, and Farmers online in New Zealand for delivery or collect in-store. Too easy, right?

I’m not sure of New Zealand figures, but Super Lustrous is the #1 bullet lipstick in Australia and I’d say the situation could be similar here. The classic lipstick has continued to sell at one every minute throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, retaining its cult status among keen beauty enthusiasts.
Infused with Vitamin E and avocado oil for smooth, supple lips and micro-fine pigments for a lightweight feel, the Super Lustrous range is the perfect combination of high impact colour in a super-moisturising formula that really does last and last. And if you haven’t tried the brand’s Super Lustrous lipstick in the shade Teak Rose then you haven’t lived – it really is the most universally flattering muted pink that makes any complexion pop.

The Super Lustrous® Virtual Mirror App is free to download and available on the Apple store right now.
